CAREER HONORS
- Phil Steel preseason All-WAC, Second Team, DB (2009)
- Voted Team Captain (2008)
- All-WAC, Second Team, DB (2007)
- All-WAC, Second Team, Returner (2007)
- UI John Friesz MVP (2007)
- Freshman All-American, Honorable Mention, TSN (2006)
He is, without doubt, one of Idaho's primary defensive leaders. A starter at strong safety since his true freshman season in 2006 (when he was named an Honorable Mention Freshman All-American by The Sporting News), Shiloh Keo followed it up in 2007 by etching his name in the Idaho record books.
As a sophomore he set a new UI record with a 100 yard punt return for a touchdown. He set a new UI record with a punt return average 16.79 yards per return. He ranked third in the WAC and sixth nationally in punt return average. He finished third on the team in total tackles with 81 take downs. He also finished second in the WAC with 4 picks on the year and second in Conference with 3 fumble recoveries.
For the effort, he was named a second team All-WAC selection at both Safety and Punt Returner, and was voted Idaho's John Friesz Most Valuable Player for 2007.
Poised for a stellar '08 campaign, his season was cut short after the third game with a season ending shoulder injury. He is expected to get a medical redshirt, and will be a redshirt junior in 2009.
Already recognized as one of the best safeties in the WAC, Keo will join senior free safety Virdell Larkins to form one of the best safety duo's the WAC has to offer in 2009 (both were named 2nd Team preseason All-WAC selections by Phil Steele).
