Biography:
Oga comes to Idaho with the attributes the Vandals need from an immediate contributor: Strength and agility. He comes in with a 375 pound bench, and in 2006 had offers from Washington State and Hawaii.

Oga played both defensive tackle and defensive end in junior college. He racked up 47 tackles and eight TFLs in 2006 while earning second team all-conference honors at Garden City College in Kansas, and has a non-stop motor.

As a prep senior in 2004 he was named Defensive Lineman of the Year in the South Puget Sound League-North. Took the 2007 season off to concentrate on academics, and arrives at Idaho with 2-to-play-2.

He will be expected to contribute immediately on the Vandal defensive line.
