Breyon joined the Vandals last season as a JC transfer and started ALL 12 GAMES for the Vandals at cornerback opposite All-Conference cornerback Stanley Franks. Breyon finished a solid junior season with 40 tackles on the season, one interception and four pass breakups.
Breyon came to Idaho from Pasadena City College where he played one season earned first-team all-Mission Conference honors. He had 48 solo tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception, 12 passes defensed and one forced fumble. Prior to Pasadena City College he spent two years at Northern Arizona University, playing one season and missing the other season with an injury.
Breyon will be expected to be the top candidate to start at one cornerback position in 2008, and has been running with the No. 1 defense throughout spring camp.
