| Biography: |
Maurice was one of the top recruits in the class of 2007 (a prototypical target at 6-2, 190 pounds, and 4.6 speed), and he proved it on the field for the Vandals as a true freshman. He finished the '07 season with 23 receptions in 11 games, was fourth on the team with 276 yards (12.0 yards per reception), two touchdowns and a long of 26 yards.
Maurice was Idaho's starting split end the last eight games of the 2007, and he will be expected to battle for starting duties when the Vandals travel to Arizona to take on the Wildcats in the '08 season opener.
