| Biography: |
As a former walkon, Max joined the Vandals in 2005 and redshirted. As a redshirt freshman in 2006, he made an immediate impact and played in 10 games for the Vandals, starting eight as a slot receiver. He finished that season with 17 receptions (5th) for 313 yards (4th), 18.4 yards per catch (2nd), and a long of 47 yards.
Max played multiple positions for the Vandals as a sophomore in '07, but his primary position remains the starting flanker in the new Vandal offense. Last year he led the Vandals with 30 receptions in 11 games for 445 yards and a team-best four touchdowns on the year. His 40.5 yards receiving per game was number one, and his 14.8 yards per reception was No. 2 on the team. His 51 yard long on the year was third longest reception on the team.
He will be expected to be among Idaho's top receivers when the team opens at Arizona in 2008. |
