| Biography: |
Eric joined the Vandals last fall as a true freshman (over an offer from UNLV) and earned immediate playing time in the wide receiver rotation. An enormous target at 6-6, he's added 15 pounds to his frame this year and will be competing for a starting job at wide receiver in 2008.
In 10 games last year as a true freshman Eric caught three passes, including one for a touchdown and a long of 18 yards. With a year of significant playing time under his belt and a year in the Idaho offense - as well as a solid year getting accustomed to Idaho's young quarterbacks - Eric should emerge as one of Idaho's top scoring threats soon - especially in short yardage situations.
In 2007 he also was a weapon on special teams, recovering an eye popping THREE onside kicks to keep Idaho's offense on the field.
