| Biography: |
Andre joined the Vandals for fall camp last year as one of the prized recruits signed last spring (he originally verballed to Arizona State, but changed his commitment to Idaho in a signing day surprise). A three-star prospect ranked 39th nationally at strongside linebacker and #6 at that position in California, Ferguson had consecutive triple-digit tackle seasons.
He had an exceptional redshirt year, adding 20 pounds to his 6-3 frame and making the transition to defensive end (he was projected by most analysts to be a college standout at strongside linebacker or defensive end).
Andre has already looked solid in spring drills and will be expected to compete for immediate playing time when the Vandals take on Arizona in the season opener.
