T.J. Conley has been Idaho's starting punter each of the last four years at Idaho. He struggled a bit with consistency early in his career, but emerged as one of the better punters in the Western Athletic Conference last year (2007) as a redshirt junior.
He goes into his senior season this year as part of a senior laden special teams unit. Along with Conley, senior place kicker Tino Amancio is on pace to shatter several Idaho career field goal kicking records, and kickoff specialist Vicente Rico routinely kicks off through the opponents endzone.
One of the state of Washington's top all-time high school quarterbacks out of DeSales High School (Walla Walla, WA), T.J. is a dual-threat to throw a pass anytime he lines up to punt.
