| Biography: |
Steven committed to the Vandal program in 2006 and grayshirted. The Fort Lauderdale (Florida) product then joined the Vandals last spring and immediately became one of Idaho's top wide receivers, earning significant playing time as a true freshman (he still has a redshirt year available). He finished with 10 catches in eight games, averaging 9.1 yards per catch.
Brown will be expected to be among Idaho's top receivers in 2008.
2005 - St. Thomas Aquinas (FL)
A starter for the Raiders, Brown helped lead the Raiders to a final 13-1 record and birth in the Florida Class 5A State Championship game. The team from Ft. Lauderdale has made it a habit to play for the State Championship, and last year was no different. Brown led the team with 27 receptions on the year. He gained 384 yards, scored 5 touchdowns and recorded a long of 23 yards. An honorable mention All-County selection, Brown was one of a whopping 11 Raider seniors to sign with Division 1A programs.
Steven is the cousin of former Aquinas and University of Tennessee WR Tony Brown. |
