Named a First Team All-State Class 4A selection at defensive end as a senior in 2008. In addition, was named a First Team All Northern Region selection at DE, and a Second Team selection at TE. He was also named First Team All-League selection at BOTH DE and TE. He set a new school record with 17 sacks on the season, and also led the state of Nevada in this category. Defensively he finished the season with 54 total tackles and 24 tackles for loss. Offensively he registered 22 receptions for 250 yards.
Lagrone was instrumental in helping lead his McQueen High School team to the Class 4A state championship and a perfect 14-0 season in 2008. It was the school's sixth state championship in its history. |
