Expected to enroll at the UI in January, Wichman will work with the team this spring in what could be a competitive battle for playing time next fall. As for why Wichman picked Idaho, he said, "Idaho's staff was in place and I really like quarterbacks coach Jonathan Smith. I feel that I can learn a lot from him."
