Recruiting efforts with Middlebrooks heat up

This year Kyle Middlebrooks has been garnering the attention of several schools in the Western region and lately Arizona State has also joined the recruiting sweepstakes. California running back Adonis Smith will be taking his first official this weekend, Dec. 5, to Washington State. “I want to see what it’s like,” Smith said about Pullman, Washington. “I think that they are up-and-coming and I’d have a good opportunity to get on the field and play.” He says the Cougars, along with Northwestern, are recruiting him the hardest.    Full Story

One of the Nebraska visitors that was in for the Oklahoma game was Derrick Malone, a three star safety from Colton (Calif.). The Huskers had a big night, particularly at the safety position, to have such a visitor in for the game. “It was great,” said Derrick Malone about his Nov. 6 trip to Nebraska. “I loved it. I can’t say enough things about it. I thought the whole community was amazing.
