2006 Spotlight: Daniel Dykes

Daniel “D.J” Dykes, a junior-to-be out of California powerhouse Los Alamitos High School, has started 23 consecutive games at Strong Safety since joining the program as a true freshman in 2004. He has the most starting experience of any Vandal defensive back, and he still has two years of eligibility remaining. Without a doubt, he is one of the keys to the 2006 Vandal football season.
