Saturday night the Vandals got off to a slow start at San Diego State, falling behind 24-3 at halftime, and finishing with another frustrating 45-17 loss. The Vandal rushing attack was led by a pair of freshmen, including true freshman TROY VITAL who finished with 46 yards and scored a touchdown. Overall the Vandals finished with 182 rushing yards and 112 yards through the air.

Redshirt freshman tailback PRINCETON MCCARTY led Idaho with 82 rushing yards, including this electrifying 41 yard burst in the third quarter for the Vandals.  He finished with one TD and 6.8 YPC.
On this carry, PRINCETON MCCARTY scored a late touchdown for the Vandals, carrying it in from 12 yards out to score the final points with 3:49 left in the game.
True freshman tailback TROY VITAL bulled his way to 46 yards on 12 carries and a 2-yard touchdown run, cutting SDSU's lead to 38-10 early in the fourth quarter.
True freshman linebacker TRE'SHAWN ROBINSON is earning significant PT, including most Special Teams Units.  On this KO coverage tackle, Robinson is joined by freshmen Siavii, Miles, and Vital.
On this play true sophomore outside linebacker JUSTIN ALLEN deflected a first quarter pass.  He finished with four tackles, one tackle for loss, and this pass deflection.
True freshman linebacker ROBERT SIAVII plays on virtually all Special Teams units and is earning more PT at SAM 'backer for the Vandals.
True freshman KAMA BAILEY returned seven kickoffs for 119 yards, including a 23 yard return in his most action this season as Idaho's starting kickoff return specialist.
True sophomore linebacker JOJO DICKSON finished second on the team with seven tackles, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery for the Vandals against San Diego State.
Sophomore quarterback NATHAN ENDERLE finished Saturday afternoon against San Diego State with 11 completions on 26 attempts, with two interceptions and was sacked twice, plus 12 rushing yards.
Senior left guard MIKE IUPATI (6-6, 345) continues to get back into rhythm after missing spring and fall camp and the first three games with an injury.  Saturday he logged his most PT of the season.
