This was exacty what the Idaho Vandal basketball team needed -- a game to regroup and play in front of a loud, partisan crowd. It wasn't Idaho's home court, but it felt like it at Qwest Arena in Boise, situated in the Idaho state capital and the University of Idaho's largest alumni base.

The 4,111 fans that came out tonight enjoyed a solid Idaho performance, building a lead by as much as 21 points in the second half before cruising to a 71-52 non-conference victory. With the win Idaho improves to 7-4 on the season and sets its sights on starting Western Athletic Conference action at Hawaii on January 2nd, followed by a January 4th road trip to San Jose State.
