The Vandals (7-3, 4-2 WAC) struggled early Saturday night against Fresno State (6-3, 5-1 WAC), falling behind 24-0 at the half. But the offense, led by sophomore quarterback BRIAN READER starting in place of injured Nathan Enderle, awoke in the second half while the Vandal defense stiffened (yielding just one TD in the final three quarters). This week, however, Idaho's rally would fall short.
