A NUMBER OF recruits offered late -- and "late" in this age of ever early offers and verbals means a month or three before Letter of Intent Day -- have gone on to terrific college careers. Any number of circumstances can be reason why; marked development in senior year, tape going out after the season, etc. Alex Shaw, brother of Vandal DE Josh Shaw, might see his name become part of that group.
