Senior middle linebacker COLE SNYDER had a game high 19 tackles against UNLV, including a stunning 16 solo tackles and a quarterback sack for a 5 yard loss. The walkon turned defensive star at Idaho is currently on the Rotary Lombardi watch list, and through the first two games has 28 tackles, one interception, one sack and two tackles for loss.

Vandal fans made a great showing at this game, which was the first meeting between Idaho and UNLV since the 1994 season (which Idaho won). UNLV's victory Saturday gives the Rebels the all-time series lead at 3-2.

caught the first pass of his young career Saturday against UNLV, which also was his first career touchdown reception. The catch gave Idaho a 31-24 fourth quarter lead.

Rolly Lumbala
gained 39 tough yards on 12 carries (long of 9), and gained 35 yards on 2 receptions (long of 22).

Junior wide receiver
Daniel Smith
caught virtually everything thrown his direction, including an electrifying second quarter 51 yard touchdown reception (sequence at bottom of this page). The catch above helped set-up Idaho's 20-yard touchdown strike to Wendell Octave shown below.

had a career night, gaining 146 yards on 6 receptions with a long of 44 yards and a touchdown. He was a critical part of the Vandal passing attack all night, including this third quarter 20 yard TD.

Antwaun Sherman
gained 88 yards rushing on 11 carries, including Idaho's first score of the game on a 60 yard run off left tackle in the second quarter.
