With just over a week remaining in Spring Drills for 2005, redshirt freshman defensive end TAYLOR RUST and the rest of the Vandals look toward their scrimmage THIS WEEKEND in POST FALLS (ID), and wrapping things up with the SPRING GAME on Friday, April 29th in The Dome.

With spring drills now in the 3rd week of the 4 week camp, the team quickly prepares for the Silver and Gold Spring Game to be played in The Dome on Friday, April 29th (7pm kickoff).

But first the Vandals will take their show on the road for a scrimmage in Post Falls (ID) this Saturday. The team scrimmage will take place at Post Falls High School, with drills starting at 11 a.m. The scrimmmage is free to the public. Shortly after the scrimmage will be a barbeque (entry to the barbeque is just $10).

In the meantime, we've visited the team's practices a couple of times, and this week we focus our gallery attention on the DEFENSE. This group is showing nice progress which should make for one of the overall deepest defensive units Idaho has fielded in years. Competition throughout the depth chart is intense as the redshirts and JC transfers are starting to make an impact.

Many thanks to MARLIN SMITH for this collection of images.
