Friday afternoon in the J.A. Alberston Building will be two "College of Knowledge" presentations starting at 2 p.m. with "What's In Your Food" followed at 3:30 by "What's In Your Portfolio: Making More `Cents' With Your Dollars."
At 5 p.m. fans will assemble at the U of I golf course for a serpentine, led by the Vandal Band, through the campus to the Kibbie Dome parking lot to see the top Vandal Jingle performers and the crowning of the Homecoming Court at the 5:30 bonfire rally.
After the bonfire, all alumni and fans are invited to the Best Western University Inn Convention Center for Vandalfest from 6:30 to 10 p.m. The celebration features hosted hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar. Attendees can also pick up their Homecoming 2004 buttons good for discounts at participating area businesses.
Also on the schedule Friday evening, the Borah Theatre in the SUB will screen "The Manchurian Candidate" at 7 and 9:30 p.m., and there will also be a 7 p.m. concert at the University Auditorium.
The festivities begin again early Saturday morning with the 7:30 pancake feed at the Moscow fire station followed by the traditional Homecoming parade down Main Street at 9:30. The Campus Christian Center will hold an open house at 10 a.m.
Action then moves to Martin Statium for Vandal Game Day at the field house from 12 noon to 2 p.m. followed by the Vandals against
Arkansas State
at 2 p.m. in Martin Stadium.
Following the game, there will be a post-game reception at the University Inn Conference Center.
