Images From The 2nd Week Of Fall Practice

With just 2 weeks remaining before the season opener in Boise, the Vandals (including RS-sophomore place kicker Mike Barrow) continue to prepare aggressively for the season ahead. Most of the 2004 recruiting class continue to see significant PT this fall, as the staff looks to fill the depth chart for the coming season.

The Vandals continue to build towards their season opening show-down with Boise State in Boise on Sept 4th. Significant battles throughout the depth-chart continue on both sides of the ball, as a talented class of incoming freshmen continues to make its mark.

We've known for quite some time that a significant number of incoming freshmen could, and likely would, see playing time this fall. With many programs around the country, the first few weeks of fall are used to determine who will or won't be redshirted for the coming season. Idaho certainly isn't any different, particularly this year. We've heard about a number of recruits making noise at virtually every position on the team, in many cases battling redshirt freshmen and sophomores for playing time.

The Vandals rounded out 2-a-day practices this week with a scrimmage this morning. To read more about the scrimmage and view stats, click on the link below:
