Vandals sign 20 new recruits on LOI Day

WEDNESDAY'S NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT SIGNING DAY included the usual surprises, as one or two prospects expected to sign didn't, while the Vandals also picked up a surprise or two, including getting a signed LOI from Washington AP All-State defensive end KEVIN SHELTON out of Auburn High School. A group of 20 signed Wednesday, adding to the eight JC athletes who signed with UI in December.

Below is the complete list of athletes that signed and sent National Letter of Intent documents on Wednesday to the University of Idaho, followed by a list of the junior college recruits who signed with Idaho in December (many of whom are on campus already). Rumors abound that others will be grayshirting (to be announced later this summer) in this, the first recruiting class of the Paul Petrino era.

Check back in the coming weeks and months for interviews and updates with this class.
