Blackman No.1 QB; Idaho preseason honors

WITH THE 2012 SEASON AROUND THE CORNER AND MUCH OF THE DEPTH CHART GETTING SETTLED, the Vandals announced that junior quarterback DOMINIQUE BLACKMAN will be directing a completely rebuilt Vandal offense in the season opener against Eastern Washington in the Kibbie Dome (August 30th, 6:00PM PST kickoff). PAUL HORNUNG AWARD WATCH LIST: He's one of the fastest Vandals on the team, and one of Idaho's most explosive weapons on offense. RAY GUY WATCH LIST: Senior punter Bobby Cowan has had a spectacular career at UI, including earning All-American honors by the Football Writers Association of America for his efforts in 2011 (finished second in the nation with 46.41 yards per punt).
