Deremy Geiger led the Vandals with 16 points and three assists in 31 minutes of action. He struggled a bit at the line, shooting 50% (5-of-10) at San Jose, but hit the big free-throws when it counted in the final minutes. True freshman Connor Hill hit four straight 3-pointers to score 12-points off the bench against the Spartans (finishing 4-of-5 from behind the arc). Senior guard Landon Tatum scored 10 for the Vandals, with two assists and just one turnover in 35 minutes of action. He went 4-of-6 from the free-throw line for Idaho. Junior center Kyle Barone was solid on the night, playing well against the Spartan's leading scorer Wil Carter (just 12 points on the night). Statistically Barone finished with nine points, nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks (although it seemed like there were more) and one steal.
